Global Giant Girls
“She says she's fine.”
Many girls have mastered the art of appearing fine while carrying heavy emotional burdens inside.
Global Giant Girls
“It's just social media.”
Every scroll invites comparison — quietly shaping how she sees her body, her life and her worth.
Global Giant Girls
“Her friends are good girls.”
Without wise guidance, peers can end up reinforcing each other's confusion instead of correcting it.
Global Giant Girls
“Not in my house.”
Many girls live double lives — one version at home, another online and with friends. Secrecy becomes a habit.

For parents of girls aged 7–19
Today's teenage girl is growing up in a world vastly different from the one you knew.
The influences shaping her thinking, identity, relationships and self-worth are complex and powerful. Yet many parents remain unaware of the silent struggles unfolding in their daughters' lives.
She goes to school. She eats well. She is not in obvious trouble. So it is easy to assume everything is fine. Unfortunately, that is not always the case.
What looks like attitude is often a deeper struggle.
Sudden withdrawal. Irritability. Excessive time alone. Emotional outbursts that seem unreasonable. And the moment you ask what's wrong, she shuts down and says, “Nothing.”
Behind the scroll, she is quietly comparing her body, her clothes, her family and her popularity — and slowly beginning to feel she is not good enough.
When she feels misunderstood or unable to talk freely at home, she turns to her friends for validation, learns to hide her struggles, and over time, secrecy becomes a habit.
She is not simply rebellious. She needs to be understood.
This does not mean you are failing as a parent. It means you must learn to look beyond behavior and begin to understand the emotional world of your daughter.
When you are aware of these hidden dynamics, you are better positioned to guide, support and protect her during one of the most vulnerable seasons of her life.
Connection beats correction — any time, any day.

A note from Coach Precious
Why I have made raising confident, purpose-driven girls my life's work
I am Coach Precious, and for years I have dedicated my work to helping girls discover their worth, develop their potential, and grow into confident young women.
Through my work with girls, parents, schools and organisations, I have come to appreciate something important: raising a girl is not only about providing for her needs or correcting her mistakes. It is about helping her understand who she is — and who she is capable of becoming.
For more than 13 years, mentoring girls has been at the centre of my life. My training in children's and adolescents' counselling deepened my conviction that girls flourish when the adults around them are intentional — when someone takes the time to listen, to ask better questions, and to believe in them before they fully believe in themselves.
That conviction is why I founded Global Giant Girls: to give girls a space to build confidence, character, leadership, purpose and practical life skills. And it is why, through the School of Teen Mentors and Coaches, I have helped train more than 300 mentors and coaches to walk alongside young people.
I do not believe mentorship replaces parents. I believe it strengthens what you are already building at home. You want a daughter who can think for herself, act responsibly, recognise her worth, and live with purpose. So do I. That is the work we can do together.
Because every girl deserves the opportunity to discover the giant within her.
